From Matthew Reilly books to Raiders of the Lost Ark, I’ve always loved things that take you to faraway lands and let you explore. Gonzo’s Quest is my favourite slot because it’s an adventure and a game all in one!

The thing that strikes you first is the quality of the graphics. They’re stunning and it’s just like playing a video game, helped along by outdoorsy sound effects. The developers really aimed to create a whole other world with this slot and I can tell you they succeeded.

But really, if you’re playing a slot you’re there to win cash too, right? This slot continues the theme even while it helps you take home the gold. The symbols tumble from the top of the screen rather than spin – this can be a little disconcerting for some, but I like it, especially since there’s a great ‘avalanche’ function, familiar to those who like Da Vinci Diamonds.
